The 3 cm difference between the 5 cm and 8 cm Moncayo is barely noticeable once installed, but it completely changes what it can withstand: 5 cm is for walking on, and 8 cm is for letting the car into the garage. If in doubt, go with the 8 cm. And order 5-7% extra material: with large-format slabs, every cut renders half a piece unusable, and the finishing pieces use up more than you’d think.
