Ordesa Cladding - Facing with Natural Stone Texture
Ordesa Cladding: concrete facing with a natural stone texture
Cladding a wall with real natural stone drives up the cost, adds considerable weight to the surface and forces slow, highly artisanal installation. Ordesa Cladding is made with precision molds that reproduce the grain, pore and relief of authentic stone, at just 2.5 cm thick and 2.1 kg per piece in the 20 × 20 cm format, suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
✅ Key advantages
Authentic stone texture: the molds replicate every detail and relief of real stone, without its cost or weight.
Slim profile: at 2.5 cm it barely takes up usable space in a room and needs no reinforcement of the wall.
Indoor and outdoor: the same material and the same layout inside and outside the home, for a continuous project.
Five combinable formats: from 20 × 20 cm to 30 × 60 cm, for building panels with an irregular, masonry-style layout.
Known coverage: 25.00 pieces per m² in the 20 × 20 cm format, so you can order without surprises.
Two standard colors: Caliza and Pirineos, the two tones that pair best with wood and lacquered aluminum joinery.

🧰 Installation
Check that the substrate is clean, sound and free of dust or formwork residue; dampen it slightly if the surface is very absorbent.
Spread pieces from several boxes on the ground and lay out the pattern before bonding anything, mixing tones and sizes.
Spread exterior-grade tile adhesive with a notched trowel on the substrate and also apply a thin layer to the back of the piece (double buttering).
Fit pieces from bottom to top, pressing and twisting each one slightly to bed it, and check it's level every two or three rows.
Leave the joint you've decided on (or butt-join) and grout with joint mortar once the adhesive has cured.
Clean off residue with a damp sponge before it hardens and, outdoors, consider a colorless water repellent.

💡 Professional tip: always allow 10% extra material over the measured m²: between corner cuts and pieces that break while fitting, that margin is what saves you from having to order a second batch. And if you do order more later, the tone may not match: since it's a pigmented product, each batch has slight variations, so buy all the material at once and mix it from several boxes as you install.
