Sí, los adoquines son aptos tanto para zonas de tránsito peatonal como para accesos de vehículos ligeros, siempre que se instalen sobre una base compactada adecuada.
¿Cómo se instala, con mortero o sobre arena?
Puede instalarse en seco sobre una cama de arena compactada y rejuntado con arena fina, o fijado con mortero sobre una base de hormigón, según el uso y el tránsito previsto.
¿Qué separación debo dejar entre piezas?
Se recomienda dejar una junta de entre 3 y 8 mm, que después se rellena con arena o mortero según el tipo de instalación.
¿Es resistente a la intemperie y a las heladas?
Sí, es un material apto para exterior, resistente a la lluvia, el sol y las heladas.
¿Necesita algún mantenimiento especial?
No requiere mantenimiento especial. Se recomienda una limpieza periódica y, opcionalmente, rellenar de nuevo las juntas con arena si con el tiempo se vacían.
