Can you cut and join?

They are manufactured in dimensions of 2.55 x 6 m. but sI a smaller size is needed, they can be easily cut. To join them, it is as simple as passing flakes through the holes of each grid or staping them with an office stapler.

Do I need antihierbas mesh?

We recommend the placement of Antihierba mesh As a very useful complement, and is installed under the stabilizer to help with stability and permeability, it also does a great job to prevent weed growth through the filling material.

What filling material can I use? Is a base required?

You can choose sand or gravel as filling material, but for heavy pedestrian traffic, we recommend using only gravel.

The best gravel size to use is between 6 and 20 mm.

It is recommended, although it is not essential, to place a base layer of 5 cm. high under the grilles.

Placement of flexible gravel stabilizer

 Important!

Playing the gravel stabilizer is not excessively complicated but it is required to follow concrete steps, it is a matter of patience and time more than skill.

1. If the land in which you are going to place the stabilizer is earth or herbs can leave it is highly advisable to put a Antihierba mesh. We cut the mesh as stabilizer and hold it with fastening staples so that it does not move.
2. We extend the flexible stabilizer on the mesh, we stretch it well and hold it, since the stabilizer will take a pier and shrink. We hold it all over the perimeter with staples until it is perfectly stretched.
3. We begin to fill the cells with the gravel, very little by little, if we throw a lot of gravel the stabilizer will crush and/or lift.
4. Once we have "dominated" a first section we can already pour more gravel on that section and push it towards empty cells. From this moment on, work is easier and faster.
5. Once we have the entire stabilizer, it is recommended to throw 5 mm more gravel, so that the stabilizer is not seen. At that time it is recommended to step on the gravel, if we have a roller that weighs it would be perfect, but if we do not have one we can put a table and get on top to gradually step on the ground, in this way the gravel will be compacted very well and we will achieve the comfortable effect we are looking for.
