🧰 Installation
Dry-lay the perimeter, place the corner pieces first and spread the adjustment across the straight pieces.
Dampen the pool shell coping before bonding so it doesn't absorb the water from the adhesive.
Bed with a C2 tile adhesive rated for outdoor and immersion use, using double buttering; the piece's light weight doesn't help it settle, so the adhesive does all the work.
Keep a slope of 1.5-2% toward the outside along the whole perimeter.
Leave 3-5 mm joints between pieces and an elastic expansion joint every 4-5 m and at every corner.
Grout with an outdoor-rated mortar and seal the contact with the pool shell using polyurethane.

💡 Professional tip: light can be deceptive. A 9.3 kg, 3 cm thick piece doesn't bed itself into the adhesive the way a 25 kg coping does, so you need double buttering and to tap it with a rubber mallet until the adhesive squeezes out across the whole back; leave an air pocket and that piece cracks with the first frost. Count the corner pieces separately and order them ahead: they ship on different pallets from the straight ones and are what holds up a job. And about the colour: this champagne tone varies slightly between batches since it's mass-pigmented concrete; order the whole perimeter from the same batch, because on a continuous 30-metre edge the shade difference shows from across the garden.
