Protective wax with matte effect: protection and a natural finish for floors and walls
What is it for?
Protective wax with matte effect is formulated to protect interior clay tile, extruded stoneware and rustic natural stone floors against wear from foot traffic and dirt. It gives a natural matte finish that softens the texture of the surface, makes maintenance easier and effectively repels dirt and dust. This product is ideal as a finishing treatment over water-based waterproofers and to prevent dusting on interior natural stone and exposed brick walls, keeping their original matte look.

How to use
This product can be used undiluted or diluted in water, depending on the application.
Instructions:
Protection of floors and walls:
Dilute MATT slightly to make application easier, adding 200 ml of water per litre of product.
With the surface clean and dry, apply MATT evenly with a brush, fleece applicator or similar tool.
Wait until fully dry (at least 1 hour) and apply a second coat. Wait until fully dry before walking on it (at least one hour).
If a satin finish is desired, simply buff afterwards by rubbing with a mop, soft cloth or buffing machine.
On clay and highly absorbent stone (e.g. sandstone), first apply a coat of a waterproofer such as W68 or FOB XTREME.
Renewing the finish (e.g. every 2/3 months): once the surface has been cleaned with CLEANER PRO (diluted 1:200), apply MATT diluted at 500 ml of product in 5 litres of water. Wait until fully dry before walking on it.
Restoring the protection: strip the surface with PS87 PRO detergent diluted 1:5 in water. Rinse. With the floor dry, apply the diluted wax (200 ml of water per litre of product) with a fleece applicator, brush or similar tool.
For anti-dusting treatment: with the surface dry, apply a coat of undiluted MATT with a brush. After 1 hour the surface is dry.
Cleaning tools: clean with water immediately after use.
Maintenance: diluted solution of CLEANER PRO.
Attention
The product can be removed using PS87 PRO stripping detergent. Do not apply in humid environments or on floors without adequate slope that can allow water to pool (showers, saunas, steam rooms, etc.). The product slightly revives the tone of the material, so carry out a test beforehand on a small area of the surface.
