Madroño Kerb - Concrete Log Pieces for Beds and Tree Pits
Madroño Kerb: concrete log pieces with a wood look
Real timber log edging rots at the base within three or four watering seasons. The Madroño Kerb gives the same rustic feel in concrete coloured through the mix in Oak: a genuine log-piece texture that doesn't rot, doesn't splinter and needs no treating every spring.
✅ Key advantages
A wood look with no maintenance: no varnish, no anti-termite treatment, no replacing rotten pieces.
Oak colour through the mix: the tone runs through the whole piece, so a chip doesn't expose grey concrete.
Two lengths: 42 cm for curves and tree pits, 50 cm for straight runs.
20 cm usable height: holds back bark, gravel or substrate well in flower beds.
Matches the Madroño range: the same tone as the sleepers, posts and path rounds.
🏗️ Recommended applications
Edging flower beds and borders.
Tree and shrub pits.
Edging bark or gravel paths.
Dividing lawn from planted areas.
Enclosing children's play areas with soft flooring.

On curves and tree pits, use the 42 cm format and open the joint slightly on the outer face.
Pack with mortar on both faces and lightly water to settle.

50 × 10 × 20 cm in Oak — single unit or pallet of 30 units.
💡 Professional tip: when setting the pieces, match the log pattern from one to the next. Lay units without checking the relief and the joint stands out as a clean cut every 42 or 50 cm; turn the piece before tapping it in and the edge reads as continuous. It takes ten seconds per unit and completely changes the result.
