Cazorla Baluster 77 cm: what it is
It's the round-shaft baluster in the Cazorla collection: 77 cm tall and Ø 16 cm maximum diameter. It's the largest-section piece in the range, used when the balustrade needs to visually anchor a long wall or a façade of some height, and a slim piece would look undersized. It's made with no internal reinforcement, so there's no steel to rust and split the shaft.

🧰 Installation
Level and clean the top of the wall; on an uneven bed, a round piece rocks and there's no way to plumb it.
Set out the spacing between centres end to end before drilling anything.
Drill and fit the 55 × Ø 0.8 cm galvanised dowel at each marked point.
Bed the baluster on a pat of bonding mortar, threading it onto the dowel.
On a staircase or a sloping wall, insert the Ø 16 cm wedge to recover level on each step.
Fit the top cap and point the joints once the whole run has set.

💡 Professional tip: with Ø 16 cm shafts, the costly mistake is spacing the centres too tight: more pieces than necessary get used, the gap between balusters disappears, and the balustrade ends up looking like a solid wall. Leave a gap roughly equal to the shaft's diameter and dry-fit the spacing on the wall before mixing the first bag.
