Alquézar Slab - smooth stone pavement in four formats up to 77.5 cm

Alquézar Slab: smooth southern stone in four sizes

In a project with a classic inspiration, paving with no character gives itself away the moment the rest is decorated. This slab solves that with a smooth, refined texture in champagne color that blends with natural stone walls and fences, available in four formats up to 77.5 × 77.5 cm.

✅ Key advantages

  • Smooth, refined texture: evokes worked limestone, without the rough look of a cheap imitation.
  • Four formats: 40 × 40, 50 × 40, 60 × 40 and 77.5 × 77.5 cm, from narrow paths to large surfaces.
  • Unique champagne color: a warm tone that pairs with stone walls and Mediterranean planting.
  • Manageable: 10 kg per slab, can be laid without lifting equipment in the smaller formats.

🏗️ Recommended applications

  • Mediterranean or traditional-style patios and terraces.
  • Garden paths through aromatic planting.
  • Seating areas next to stone walls.
  • Large surfaces using the 77.5 × 77.5 cm format.

📋 Technical specifications

  • Formats: 40 × 40 × 3, 50 × 40 × 3, 60 × 40 × 3 and 77.5 × 77.5 × 3 cm.
  • Material: concrete.
  • Color: champagne.
  • Weight per slab: 10 kg.
  • Pieces per m²: 6.25.
  • Units per pallet: 76 (40 × 40, 50 × 40 and 60 × 40) and 32 (77.5 × 77.5).

🧰 Installation

  1. Compact the ground and spread a 10-15 cm sub-base of crushed gravel.
  2. Level a 3-4 cm bed of sand or mortar with a drainage slope.
  3. Start from the most visible line and work towards the finishing areas.
  4. Bed with a rubber mallet and keep an open joint of 4-6 mm.
  5. For the 77.5 cm format, handle the piece between two people.
  6. Grout with silica sand and clean the surface.

📦 Available formats

  • 77.5 × 77.5 × 3 cm.
  • 60 × 40 × 3 cm.
  • 50 × 40 × 3 cm.
  • 40 × 40 × 3 cm.

💡 Professional tip: watch out with the 77.5 × 77.5 cm format: at only 3 cm thick and almost 60 square centimeters of surface, if the sand bed isn't perfectly screeded the piece sits unevenly and cracks in the middle the first time it's stepped on. For that format, a mortar bed is better than loose sand.
