Belt compressor 50 L - 3 HP and 320 L/min at 10 bar

50-liter belt compressor

The logical entry point into the world of belt compressors: 50 liters, 3 HP and 10 bar, with a size that can still be moved around the workshop without hassle.

Compared with a direct-drive compressor at roughly the same price, here you are not buying more airflow: you are buying hours of life. The belt allows the head to spin at half the revolutions, and a lubricated cast-iron head turning slowly can withstand daily use that would burn out a direct compressor in a couple of seasons.

✅ Main advantages

  • Belt drive: designed to work every day, for many hours.
  • 10 bar maximum pressure versus the usual 8 bar.
  • 320 L/min of sustained airflow.
  • Lubricated cast-iron head: dissipates heat and can be repaired.
  • 50 liters with wheels: professional yet manageable.

🏗️ What it's for

  • Mechanical and bodywork workshop with daily use.
  • Impact tools, ratchets, and light pneumatic sanding.
  • Spray painting and finishing.
  • Professional carpentry and assembly.

💡 Professional tip: the most expensive mistake when first using a belt compressor is starting it without removing the transport plug from the crankcase or without checking the oil level. Many come without oil from the factory to prevent spills during shipping. Check the sight glass before the first start-up: thirty seconds running dry is enough to seize the head, and that is not covered by the warranty.
