The V-shaped twin-cylinder head is what makes that airflow possible with just 3 HP: two cylinders working alternately, with less vibration and better cooling than a single head pushed to the limit.

💡 Professional tip: with single-phase 3 HP units, starting is what suffers. Never restart it immediately after stopping it with the tank under pressure: the unload valve needs a few seconds to relieve the piston head, and if the motor has to start against pressure, the thermal cutout trips or the capacitor burns out.
