🧰 Installation
Mark out the route with a hose or string before digging and check it by walking it.
Remove about 8 cm of soil in the footprint of each slab.
Spread 4 cm of fine sand or crushed aggregate and compact it.
Bed each slab with a rubber mallet, leaving it slightly below the level of the lawn.
On turns, use the rounded edge to open the angle with no cutting.
Backfill the edges and water to settle it.

💡 Professional tip: at only 3 cm thick, the base is everything. Don't lay it on freshly turned topsoil: with the first watering it settles unevenly and the slab either rocks or can crack down the middle if someone steps on the edge. Four centimetres of well-compacted fine crushed aggregate avoids the problem.
