Warnings

During the first winters, some stones may present chips. This does not compromise their frost resistance. These chips or flakes have two origins. The first is related to the geological formation of the stone. It is a simple natural phenomenon that allows the stone to lose its outer layer. The second is due to the stones passing through machines called chippers. Not all chips produced during the chipping process are necessarily removed during this operation. The first winters will take care of this task.

We remind you that it is strictly prohibited to place and/or grout the stone with cement mortar. The use of cement with this type of stone produces efflorescence, resulting in whitish streaks, and also prevents the stone from breathing, compromising its frost resistance and increasing the risk of chipping. Therefore, to avoid these problems, we strongly recommend placing our products on a base of fine sand.
