1. Calculate the total liters of the gardener:
   Multiply the length, wide and tall of the gardener in meters to obtain the volume in cubic meters. Then, convert the cubic meters to liters (1 cubic meter = 1000 liters).
2. Determine the liters of the gardener hole:
   If the gardener has an empty central space (hollow) to plant, calculate its volume in liters. This is the space that you will need to fill with land and gravel.

Example:

• GARDENER DIMENSIONS: 2 meters long, 0.5 meters wide and 0.8 meters high.
• Total volume: 2 x 0.5 x 0.8 = 0.8 cubic meters = 800 liters.
• Hollow for plants: If the hole has dimensions of 1.8 meters long, 0.3 meters wide and 0.6 meters high: 1.8 x 0.3 x 0.6 = 0.324 cubic meters = 324 liters.
• Liters for Gavion: 800 - 324 = 476 liters.
• Adding 10% by expansion of the gavion: 476 x 1.10 = 523.6 liters.
• Necessary stone: 523.6 x 1.6 = 837.76 kg.

Result: For this gardener you will need approximately 838 kg of stone to fill the gavion and 324 liters of earth or a combination of gravel and earth for the hole.
