Choose the location taking into account the water supply and the drain outlet.
Prepare a flat, firm base, with a levelled slab or footing.
Position the fountain with two people: 57 kg isn't a one-person job.
Connect the water supply and fit the tap with PTFE tape on the thread.
Connect the 70 mm drain to the sewer line or a soakaway.
Check no water is left standing in the basin once the tap is closed.

💡 Professional tip: in frost-prone areas, always leave an accessible stopcock before the fountain and drain the pipe in winter. It's the most costly mistake with this installation: water trapped in the rising pipe freezes, bursts the pipe inside the fountain's body, and repairing it means breaking the piece open. Five minutes in November saves a rebuild in March.
