Pillar Cap for Balustrade Pillar - Four Versions by Position
Pillar Cap for Balustrade Pillar: what it is
It's the piece that crowns the pillar and closes off the top where it meets the balustrade. Besides finishing the line, it acts as a weathering cap: it oversails the pillar and throws rainwater away from the joint, which is where the moisture that stains and flakes the pillar head after a few years gets in. It's made in four different versions, one for each position the pillar can occupy in the fence.
✅ Key advantages
Four versions: intermediate, corner, end and standalone, to fit any point of the enclosure with the right piece.
Weathering-cap function: the overhang keeps water away from the joint and protects the pillar head.
Two sizes: 28 × 28 × 9 cm and 35 × 35 × 12 cm, for pillars of different sections.
Up to 28 kg per piece: enough mass that the cap doesn't shift even in strong wind.
Standard white: the same shade as the collection's balusters, copings and pillars.
🏗️ Recommended applications
Capping intermediate pillars in baluster fences.
Corner pillars in plot enclosures.
End pillars at gates and accesses.
Freestanding pillars and decorative garden pilasters.

🧰 Installation
Count the pillars by position before ordering: intermediate, corner, end and standalone each take a different piece.
Level the pillar head and clean off any dust; a warped head leaves the cap sitting unevenly, with no clean way to shim it.
Spread bonding mortar over the whole bearing surface, not just the edges.
Set the cap centring the overhang equally on all four sides.
Check level in both directions and correct before the mortar starts to grab.
Point the bearing perimeter and clean off any residue before it sets.
📦 Available formats
28 × 28 × 9 cm, single unit or pallet of 16 units.
35 × 35 × 12 cm in intermediate, corner, end or standalone version, single unit or pallet of 16 units.
💡 Professional tip: count by position before placing the order, not by the total number of pillars. It's the most common mistake on this item: ten intermediate caps arrive and the two corners are left without a piece, with the job stalled waiting on a re-delivery. Sketch the enclosure's layout and mark each pillar with its version.
