Mini air compressor 12 V and 230 V - portable 7 bar inflator
12 V and 230 V mini inflator compressor
The advantage of this inflator is not power, it is that it works in the two places where you will need it: plugged into the car's cigarette lighter socket when you get a puncture on the road, and into the mains at home when it is time to pump up the bike tyres or the air bed before setting off.
It delivers a genuine 7 bar, more than enough pressure for any passenger-car tyre (which runs at between 2 and 3 bar), and comes with a 60 cm hose, a 1.3 metre cable and two nozzles for balls and inflatables. It fits in the spare-wheel well and weighs about the same as a couple of bottles of water.
✅ Main advantages
Dual 230 V and 12 V power supply: mains electricity or the vehicle's cigarette lighter socket.
7 bar of pressure for any passenger-car or light-van tyre.
Two nozzles included for balls and inflatables.
60 cm hose and 1.3 m cable: enough reach to go all the way round the car.
Carry-bag format: it lives in the boot without getting in the way.
🏗️ What it is used for
Inflating and adjusting the pressure of car and motorcycle tyres.
Bicycles, scooters and prams.
Air beds, pool floats and camping items.
Balls and sports equipment.
📋 Technical specifications
Power supply: 230 V and 12 V (vehicle cigarette lighter socket)
Maximum pressure: 7 bar
Flow rate: 20 L/min
Power: 98 W
Hose: 60 cm
Cable: 1.3 m
Accessories: 2 nozzles
💡 Professional tip: these inflators are not made to run non-stop: let it rest every 10 minutes or the motor overheats and loses flow. And check the pressure with the vehicle cold: after driving, the tyre reads up to 0.3 bar too high and you will end up leaving it below what the manufacturer requires.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use this inflator in the car and at home?
Yes. It works on 12 V plugged into the vehicle's cigarette lighter socket and on 230 V from a household socket. The cable is 1.3 m long and the hose 60 cm, enough to reach all four wheels of the car.
Is it suitable for inflating car tyres?
Yes. It delivers up to 7 bar and a passenger-car tyre normally runs at between 2 and 3 bar. With a flow rate of 20 L/min it is an inflator for adjusting pressure or getting by after a puncture, not for working quickly.
Is it suitable for bicycles, balls or air beds?
Yes. It is used for bicycles, scooters, prams, balls, pool floats and camping items, and comes with two nozzles for balls and inflatables. Check that the pressure your tyre requires does not exceed 7 bar.
Can it run non-stop?
No. It should be left to rest every 10 minutes so that the motor does not overheat and lose flow.
How powerful is it and how much air does it deliver?
It has a power of 98 W and delivers a flow rate of 20 L/min at a maximum pressure of 7 bar. It is designed for inflating, not for running pneumatic tools.
