Semi-professional compressor 50 L - 3 HP, 9 bar and 358 L/min at V
Semi-professional 50-litre compressor with V-twin pump head
It combines the three things you look for in a single-phase workshop compressor: high flow (358 L/min), pressure with margin (9 bar) and sufficient reserve (50 litres). That is enough to run practically any intermittent-use pneumatic tool without falling short.
The V-twin pump head is what makes that flow possible with only 3 HP: two cylinders working alternately, with less vibration and better cooling than a single head pushed to the maximum.
✅ Main advantages
9 bar of pressure: one bar of margin over the standard, which is welcome with a long hose.
358 L/min: flow for demanding tools.
V-twin pump head: more performance and less vibration.
50 litres of reserve to absorb peaks in demand.
Single-phase 230 V: no electrical work needed.
🏗️ What it is used for
Mechanical workshop with impact wrenches and ratchets.
Spray painting and bodywork.
Pneumatic tools for carpentry and assembly.
Workshops and garages with intense but not continuous daily use.
📋 Technical specifications
Voltage: 230 V
Power: 3 HP
Maximum pressure: 9 bar
Flow rate: 358 L/min
Speed: 2,850 r.p.m.
Air tank capacity: 50 litres
Pump head: V-twin
💡 Professional tip: with 3 HP single-phase, it is the start-up that suffers. Never restart it immediately after stopping it with the air tank under pressure: the unloader valve needs a few seconds to relieve the piston head, and if the motor has to start against pressure it ends up tripping the thermal cut-out or burning out the capacitor.
Frequently asked questions
What are the advantages of the V-twin pump head?
Two cylinders working alternately give 358 L/min with only 3 HP, with less vibration and better cooling than a single head pushed to the maximum.
How much pressure does it deliver?
Up to 9 bar, one bar more than the standard 8 bar, which is welcome with a long hose.
Is it suitable for continuous use in a workshop?
It is designed for intense but not continuous daily use: it runs pneumatic tools in intermittent use. For non-stop air there are continuous-duty compressors.
Can I restart it straight after stopping it?
It is not advisable with the air tank under pressure. Wait a few seconds for the unloader valve to relieve the piston; if it starts against pressure, the thermal cut-out may trip or the capacitor may be damaged.
Does it need a special installation?
No. It is single-phase 230 V, with 3 HP and a 50-litre air tank.
