Frequently Asked Questions
Does it really look like wood, or can you tell it's ceramic?
The matte finish reproduces the grain and pore of a Nordic wood floor with high-definition printing, and the long 89.3 cm planks with rectified edges allow minimal joints: to the eye and underfoot, the wood-floor effect is very convincing, without the visual coldness of a tile.
What's the difference between the two plank widths?
They are the same design in 14.4x89.3 cm and 21.8x89.3 cm. The narrow plank gives a more traditional parquet feel; the wide one, a more contemporary look. The interior designer's trick: mix both widths in the installation for a real wood-floor layout.
How much does each box cover?
The 14.4x89.3 box contains 10 planks = 1.29 m² (29.5 kg); the 21.8x89.3 box contains 7 planks = 1.36 m² (30.65 kg). The full pallets cover 56.58 m² and 57.24 m² respectively.
Is it suitable for bathrooms, kitchens and terraces?
Yes — that's where it beats real wood: being porcelain stoneware, water doesn't affect it, it doesn't swell, doesn't scratch with normal use and is frost-proof, so you can run the same floor from the living room to the bathroom and the terrace without changing material.
Is it compatible with underfloor heating?
Totally. Porcelain stoneware is one of the best materials for underfloor heating: it conducts heat evenly, doesn't deform with temperature cycles and releases no compounds when heated.
How do I lay it so it looks like a real wood floor?
Lay it staggered with a maximum offset of 25% between rows (never 50%) to avoid lippage, with a 1.5–2 mm joint and tone-matched grout. Use a notched trowel and double buttering on long planks.
How much material should I order?
Add 10% to your m² for cuts (long planks generate more offcuts in irregular rooms) and round up to full boxes. For more than 40 m², consider the full pallet: it's the best price per meter.
