Long-sleeved food industry coat with concealed press studs

Velilla 259001 press-stud coat: the long food industry coat, in three colours

This is the long-sleeved coat worn over street clothes to enter the production area. It fastens with press studs concealed under a placket — no sewn-on buttons that could pop off onto the food — and the pocket is on the inside, not on the chest.

✅ Features

  • Central concealed press-stud fastening: the studs are covered by a placket; no visible parts over the product.
  • Inner patch pocket: the only pocket is on the inside, so it doesn't collect debris or dust from the line.
  • Ribbed cuffs: hug the wrist and stop the sleeve dragging across the goods.
  • Twill 65% polyester - 35% cotton: 190 g/m², with more body than a lightweight visitor coat and designed for daily use.
  • Three colours: white, navy blue and green, to visually separate sections, shifts or risk areas.
  • Sizes XS to 3XL: covers the whole workforce with a single reference.

👷 Suitable for

  • Food industry production and packing lines.
  • Food workshops, bakeries, patisseries and delicatessens.
  • Fishmongers, butchers and supermarket fresh food sections.
  • Quality control laboratories and tasting rooms.
  • Food distribution warehouses and loading docks.

📋 Technical data

  • Fastening: central, concealed press studs with placket.
  • Cuffs: ribbed.

  • Colours: white, navy blue and green.
  • Sizes: XS, S, M, L, XL, 2XL and 3XL.

🧺 Care

  • Inner label: Velilla does not publish the wash cycle for this reference; follow the symbols sewn into the garment.
  • Press studs: close them before washing. Left open they bang against the drum and end up tearing out the fabric reinforcement they are riveted to.
  • Colour: wash the navy and green coats separately from the white ones the first few times; some initial colour bleeding is normal in coloured coats.

💡 Tip: use colour as a visual control, not as decoration. Many plants assign white to the clean area and navy or green to the warehouse and dock, so a worker in the wrong area can be spotted from a distance. If you are going to do this, decide on the code before buying: changing it later means replacing the entire wardrobe.
