Slim fit stretch denim shorts

Velilla 103017S stretch denim shorts

These are, by far, the toughest shorts in the range: stretch denim of 98% cotton and 2% elastane, 380 g/m². Almost double the fabric weight of ordinary work shorts. Slim fit cut, button fly, metal rivets on the pocket corners and a tool pocket on the right leg.

✅ Features

  • 380 g/m² denim: the highest fabric weight in the entire shorts range. Withstands abrasion like no other.
  • 2% elastane: rigid denim is uncomfortable; this gives just enough to bend down.
  • Metal reinforcing rivets at the pocket stress points, like classic jeans.
  • Tool pocket on the right leg, with an upper patch pocket.
  • Side bellows patch pocket on the left leg, with flap and snap fasteners.
  • Slim fit cut and double safety stitching.
  • A single colour — blue denim — and sizes S to 3XL.

👷 Suitable for

  • Carpentry, cabinetmaking and assembly.
  • Construction and refurbishment where clothing gets dragged over rubble.
  • Mechanical and bodywork workshops.
  • Trades that want the look of jeans with the performance of workwear.
  • Gardening and work in undergrowth.

🧺 Care

  • Machine wash at 30° and inside out: denim fades along the creases if washed right side out.
  • Wash separately the first few times: indigo denim bleeds and stains the rest of the load.
  • Air dry in the shade. No tumble dryer, which is where it shrinks most.
  • Iron at medium temperature if needed.

💡 Tip: At 380 g/m² and with a slim fit cut, these shorts are not comfortable for working in the height of summer: they are heavy, block airflow and the close fit doesn't ventilate. They are shorts for those who need the garment to last, not for those who need to stay cool. For summer on site, the 103032S stretch trekking shorts — 180 g/m² — are exactly half the fabric, and you notice it. And since they are 98% cotton, expect them to shrink a little on the first wash.
