Two-tone high-visibility long-sleeve shirt

Velilla 144 two-tone high-visibility shirt: long sleeves for construction, industry and logistics

The long-sleeve version of Velilla's hi-vis shirt: the same lightweight 115 g/m² poplin and the same EN ISO 20471 class 1 certification, but with the arm covered and reflective tape on the sleeve too, which is where the body moves most and catches a driver's attention most.

✅ Features

  • EN ISO 20471 class 1 certification: the level of the standard for environments with slow-moving traffic or controlled circulation.
  • Long sleeves with buttoned cuffs: protect the forearm from abrasion and sun without sacrificing the breathability of the poplin.
  • Reflective tapes on torso and sleeves: arm movement is the first thing detected from a distance.
  • Front button fastening: easy to handle with gloves and no zips to jam.
  • Two patch pockets with button-down flap: nothing falls out when bending down.

👷 Suitable for

  • Warehouses and logistics centres with forklifts.
  • Industrial maintenance and assembly.
  • Construction in signposted areas with restricted traffic.
  • Municipal services and gardening with sun exposure.
  • Environments where the collective agreement or the client requires covered arms.

📋 Technical data

  • Velilla reference: 144
  • Composition: poplin 65% polyester - 35% cotton
  • Weight: 115 g/m²
  • Standard: EN ISO 20471, class 1
  • Colour: navy blue / fluorescent yellow
  • Sizes: S, M, L, XL, 2XL and 3XL

🧺 Care

  • Follow the sewn-in label: the manufacturer's data sheet does not publish the washing table.
  • Count the washes: EN ISO 20471 requires the label to show the maximum number of cycles the certification withstands; beyond that number the garment is no longer valid PPE.
  • Check the tapes: a cracked, peeling or dull band means the garment is withdrawn, even if the fabric is fine.

💡 Tip: Between the 142 (short sleeve) and this 144, the protection does not change — both are class 1 —; what changes is thermal comfort and sun exposure. If the team works outdoors all day, long sleeves pay off even when it is hot: 115 g/m² poplin breathes and prevents sunburn on the forearm. What neither of them solves is work on open roads, which requires class 3.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does it differ from the Velilla 142 shirt?

Only in the sleeve. The 142 has short sleeves and the 144 long sleeves with buttoned cuffs. Fabric, weight and protection class are identical.

Is it suitable for roadwork?

No. It is class 1 of EN ISO 20471, the lowest level. On the hard shoulder, open roads or at night next to traffic, the standard requires class 3.

Are the long sleeves very warm?

The 115 g/m² poplin is one of the lightest fabrics in the high-visibility range, precisely so you can wear long sleeves in summer.

How many washes does the certification withstand?

EN ISO 20471 requires this to be stated on the garment's label. Beyond that number of cycles it is no longer considered PPE.

What sizes and colours are available?

Sizes S, M, L, XL, 2XL and 3XL, in navy blue combined with fluorescent yellow.

Can it be washed in an industrial laundry?

The manufacturer's data sheet does not publish this information; follow the pictograms sewn into the garment.
