Men's long-sleeve stretch Oxford shirt

Men's long-sleeve stretch Oxford shirt: the front-of-house shirt with the most body

Oxford fabric of 180 g/m² with 5% elastane. Compared with the lightweight poplin of the basic range, this one has body, drape and the texture of a dress shirt, but with stretch so the arm can move without pulling.

✅ Features

  • Oxford with 5% elastane: the fabric gives when you stretch your arm and recovers its shape.
  • Button-down collar: the collar points stay in place, with no need for collar stays.
  • Front closure with French placket: neat, tidy buttoning.
  • Rounded button cuffs: dress-shirt finish.
  • Back darts: reduce excess fabric and shape the silhouette.

👷 Suitable for

  • Restaurant managers, maîtres d' and fine-dining staff
  • Hotel reception and concierge
  • Personalised customer service retail and office
  • Events, conferences and high-image catering

📋 Technical data

  • Composition: 50% cotton · 45% polyester · 5% elastane
  • Fabric: stretch Oxford
  • Fabric weight: 180 g/m²
  • Sizes: S, M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL
  • Colours in stock: sky blue and white
  • Velilla reference: 405004S

🧺 Care

  • Machine wash on a normal cycle. Don't overdo the temperature: elastane degrades with repeated high heat.
  • Avoid hot tumble drying, which is what shortens the life of the stretch the most.
  • Iron at medium temperature. No bleach.

💡 Tip: 180 g/m² Oxford is not see-through like 114 g/m² poplin, so in white you can skip the undershirt. On the other hand, it is heavier and warmer: for the kitchen pass or a terrace in August, go for the short-sleeve 405024S or the 405013S stretch poplin.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does it differ from the 405024S?

The 405024S is the same stretch Oxford concept but with short sleeves and a lighter 140 g/m² fabric. The 405004S has long sleeves and is 180 g/m².

And from the 405005S?

The 405005S is the same shirt in a women's fit, sizes XS to 2XL.

Is it see-through in white?

No. At 180 g/m² the Oxford has enough body to go without an undershirt.

How should the elastane be cared for?

Avoid high temperatures and hot tumble drying: that is what shortens the life of the stretch the most.

Which size should I choose?

From S to 3XL. The 5% elastane gives some leeway, so there is no need to size up for freedom of movement.

Does it have a chest pocket?

The manufacturer's data sheet does not list a chest pocket for this reference.

Is it too warm for summer?

It is heavier than poplin. For the kitchen pass or a terrace in summer, short sleeves are a better choice.
