Lined food industry jacket with concealed press studs
Velilla 256001 lined jacket: a food handler's jacket with hidden buttons
This is the everyday jacket for the food industry: it fastens with press studs concealed under a placket, so there are no visible buttons over the line, and it has no outer pockets where product can build up. It is lined, with ribbed cuffs and an elasticated waistband at the sides.
✅ Features
Central concealed press-stud fastening: the studs are covered by a front placket; nothing metallic visible over the food.
Lined: it has an inner lining, making it warmer than an unlined polyester-cotton jacket.
Ribbed cuffs: fit snugly at the wrist and stop the sleeve brushing against the goods.
Elasticated side waistband: closes the hem without pulling at the front.
A single inner patch pocket with hook-and-loop: no outer pockets, which is where dirt gets in on the production floor.
Twill 65% polyester - 35% cotton: 190 g/m², a workwear fabric with body and quick drying.
👷 Suitable for

🧺 Care
Inner label: Velilla does not publish the wash cycle for this reference; follow the symbols sewn into the garment.
65/35 blend: the majority polyester content shortens drying time and reduces ironing compared with pure cotton.
Press studs: close them before washing. Left open they bang against the drum and end up tearing out the fabric reinforcement they are riveted to.
💡 Tip: lined is not the same as padded. This 256001 has a lining, but no filling or cold-protection certification: it is suitable for temperate or cool rooms, not for working inside the cold store. If the workstation is in a refrigerated room, the correct reference is the 256002, which adds 150 g/m² filling and is certified to UNE-EN 14058.
