Velilla 11501 waterproof padded jacket with detachable sleeves
It is three garments in one: with the sleeves on, a waterproof padded jacket; without them, a padded gilet. And with the hood concealed in the collar, a rainwear garment. Outer shell of 250 g/m² PVC-coated polyester, 140 g/m² padding and heat-sealed seams. Certified to EN 14058.
✅ Features
Detachable sleeves: remove them and the jacket becomes a gilet. One garment covers you from October to May.
PVC coating and heat-sealed seams: water cannot get in through the fabric or through the needle holes, which is where a «waterproof» garment without heat-sealing fails.
EN 14058: standard for protective clothing against cool environments. The Velilla data sheet declares levels 3/2/X/X/X.
Hood concealed inside the collar, adjustable with a toggle.
Zip concealed under a placket with press studs for extra security.
Rib-knit cuffs, inner collar and waistband that keep out the wind.
Seven pockets with inner compartments.
👷 Suitable for
Outdoor building and construction work in winter.

🧺 Care
Machine wash on a gentle, low-temperature programme, with the zips closed.
Never iron: the PVC coating melts under direct heat and the garment becomes unusable.
Air dry, no tumble dryer, and away from heat sources.
Do not wring, so the padding does not clump.
💡 Tip: The weak point of this garment is the sleeve zips. If the worker removes and refits the sleeves every day with hands dirty with dust or cement, the zip jams and eventually breaks, and without the sleeve the jacket cannot be reassembled. It is worth cleaning the zip teeth from time to time and avoiding forcing it. And watch out for the iron: PVC is unforgiving.
