🧺 Care
Follow the sewn-in label: the manufacturer's data sheet does not publish the washing table.
Count the washes: EN ISO 20471 requires the label to state the maximum number of cycles the certification withstands.
Look after the coating: the PU on the outer is what repels water; aggressive washing and direct ironing degrade it and the garment stops protecting against rain.
💡 Tip: A PU-coated outer does not turn it into a rain suit. It repels water, but it is not certified to EN 343, the standard for protection against rain. If your team spends whole days in the rain, you need a garment with declared EN 343; this vest is warm wear with water resistance, not certified waterproofing.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is it waterproof?
The outer has a polyurethane coating that repels water, but the data sheet does not declare EN 343 certification for protection against rain. For whole days in the rain you need a garment with that standard.
What high-visibility class does it have?
Class 1 under EN ISO 20471. Being two-tone, the fluorescent surface is not enough for class 2.
How warm is it?
180 g/m² polyester padding between a PU-coated outer and a light lining, plus windproof sides and a fleece-lined collar. It is a winter vest.
Why is the zip concealed?
The hook-and-loop flap covers the zip: it adds a barrier against the wind and prevents the metal from rubbing or snagging.
How many pockets does it have?
Six.
What sizes and colours are available?
S, M, L, XL, 2XL and 3XL, in navy blue with fluorescent orange and navy blue with fluorescent yellow.
