A fleece vest is not a winter vest: it's a mid layer. Machine wash at 30° or 40°. Fleece doesn't need hot water, and hot water makes it mat.
No fabric softener: it clogs the fleece fibres and removes the air that keeps you warm.
Do not iron. Fleece polyester flattens with heat and never recovers.
Air dry; it's dry in a couple of hours.
💡 Tip: Watch out for pilling. 220 g/m² fleece forms bobbles when it rubs against Velcro and metal fasteners: always close the Velcro on the garment you wear underneath before putting it in the washing machine, and wash the vest inside out.
