High-visibility soft shell vest class 2

Velilla 305905 high-visibility soft shell vest: class 2 with TPU membrane

Three-layer soft shell with TPU membrane: windproof, water-repellent and breathable, with fleece lining inside. Being single-colour fluorescent, it reaches EN ISO 20471 class 2, one level above the two-tone version. It comes with an ID holder and a radio loop, two details that reveal who it is designed for.

✅ Features

  • EN ISO 20471 class 2 certification: the intermediate level of the standard, for construction and industry with vehicle traffic.
  • Three layers with TPU membrane: windproof, water-repellent and breathable.
  • 115 g/m² fleece lining: warmth without bulk.
  • Stretch fabric: 96% polyester with 4% elastane, 280 g/m², so the vest follows the movement of the arm.
  • ID holder and radio loop: designed for access control, flaggers and team leaders.
  • Two patch pockets with hook-and-loop flaps and reflective tapes on torso and shoulders.

👷 Suitable for

  • Site managers, flaggers and safety coordinators.
  • Access control and plant logistics.
  • Events, trade fairs and internal traffic control.
  • Outdoor maintenance in windy conditions.
  • Outer layer over a fleece or technical T-shirt.

🧺 Care

  • Follow the sewn-in label: the manufacturer's data sheet does not publish the washing table.
  • Count the washes: EN ISO 20471 requires the label to state the maximum number of cycles the certification withstands.
  • No fabric softener on soft shell: it clogs the pores of the TPU membrane and the garment stops breathing.

💡 Tip: This vest is class 2 and its two-tone sibling 305906 is class 1: the difference is not aesthetic, it is the level of protection. And although the TPU membrane repels water, the data sheet does not declare EN 343, the standard for protection against rain, so it does not replace a rain suit on days of continuous rain.

Frequently Asked Questions

What high-visibility class does it have?

Class 2 under EN ISO 20471. It is one level above the two-tone soft shell vest 305906, which is class 1.

Is it waterproof?

The TPU membrane repels water and blocks the wind, but the data sheet does not declare EN 343 certification for protection against rain. For continuous rain you need a garment with that standard.

Who is it designed for?

It has an ID holder window and a radio loop, so it suits flaggers, team leaders, access control and safety coordinators.

Is it stretchy?

Yes, the outer contains 4% elastane, which lets the vest follow the movement of the arm.

How do you wash a soft shell?

The data sheet does not publish the washing table. As a general rule, fabric softener should not be used, because it clogs the pores of the membrane and the garment stops breathing.

What sizes and colours are available?

S, M, L, XL, 2XL and 3XL, in fluorescent yellow and fluorescent orange.
