Velilla 180 high-visibility fleece: class 2 half-zip warmth
280 g/m² fleece with a half-zip opening, designed to be pulled on and off over the head without unzipping it fully. It is certified to EN ISO 20471 class 2: it is all fluorescent, without contrast panels, which is why it reaches a signalling level the two-tone version does not.
✅ Features
EN ISO 20471 class 2 certification: the intermediate level of the standard, for construction sites, industry and roads with moderate traffic.
Half zip: pulls on over the head and regulates neck ventilation without opening the garment completely.
280 g/m² fleece: a genuinely warm weight, not a thin lining.
Reflatex reflective tapes on torso and sleeves.
Elastic cuffs and adjustable hem with toggle: they close off cold-air entry points.
Two zipped chest pockets.

🧺 Care
Follow the sewn-in label: the manufacturer's data sheet does not publish the washing table.
Count the washes: EN ISO 20471 requires the label to state the maximum number of cycles the certification withstands.
Matted fleece counts too: when the pile flattens it loses air and, with it, warmth; a dull fluorescent colour is also a sign that the garment needs checking.
💡 Tip: This 180 and the 181 are the same 280 g/m² fleece with the same class 2; the only difference is the fastening. Choose the 180 half-zip if you will wear it like a jumper all shift, and the 181 full-zip if you put it on and take it off over other clothes several times a day. What does change level is the two-tone version: the 182 and 183 fleeces are class 1.
Frequently Asked Questions
How does it differ from the Velilla 181 fleece?
Only in the fastening. The 180 has a half zip and is pulled on over the head; the 181 has a full-length zip. Fabric, weight and class 2 are the same.
Why is it class 2 when the two-tone 182 fleece is class 1?
Because the EN ISO 20471 class depends on the fluorescent surface. The 180 is all fluorescent; the 182 replaces part of the fabric with contrast and drops one level.
Is it suitable for road work at night?
No. That scenario requires class 3 and this fleece is class 2.
Is it a thick fleece?
280 g/m² is a warm weight, not a thin lining. It works as an outer garment in mid-season and as a mid-layer in winter.
Does it have pockets?
Two zipped chest pockets.
What sizes are available?
XS, S, M, L, XL, 2XL and 3XL, in fluorescent yellow and fluorescent orange.
