Lined class 1 high-visibility trousers

Velilla F160 high-visibility trousers: fully fluorescent and lined

Fluorescent background fabric along the whole leg and a 100% polyester, 185 g/m² plain knit lining inside. They are class 1 high-visibility garments according to EN ISO 20471 and are certified to EN 14058 (1/X/X/X) as protective clothing against cool environments.

✅ Features

  • Plain knit lining: the inside doesn't chafe and keeps out the cold, without the bulk of padded trousers.
  • Certified to EN 14058 (1/X/X/X) against cool environments.
  • Tool pocket on the right leg: the detail that sets them apart from the two-tone 156.
  • Two slanted side pockets and one rear jetted pocket with button.
  • Reflective tapes at the trouser hem.
  • Elastic waist, rear safety seam and adjustment darts.

👷 Suitable for

  • Building sites and construction in winter.
  • Municipal services, gardening and street cleaning in the cold months.
  • Loading docks and unheated warehouses.
  • Installers and maintenance, thanks to the tool pocket.
  • As the base of a higher-class outfit with a vest or jacket.

🧺 Care

  • Machine wash; the polyester lining dries faster than the outer fabric.
  • No chlorine bleach: it dulls the fluorescent background.
  • Do not iron over the reflective tapes.
  • Turn inside out before washing to protect the lining and tapes.
  • Retire the garment when the fluorescent colour loses intensity.

💡 Tip: even though these trousers are fully fluorescent, they are still class 1, just like the two-tone 156. It's proof that the class can't be worked out by looking at the garment: in trousers, the fabric surface area and the height of the bands matter, not just the fact that they are fluorescent. For class 3 on the road, you need to add a certified jacket or vest.

Frequently Asked Questions

What high-visibility class are they?

Class 1 according to EN ISO 20471, according to the manufacturer's data sheet and the official distributor's.

If they're fully fluorescent, shouldn't they be a higher class?

No. In trousers, the fabric surface area and the layout of the bands matter, not just the colour.

How do they differ from the 156?

The 156 is two-tone and multi-pocket; the F160 is a single colour, has a tool pocket and fewer pockets.

Do they protect against the cold?

Yes, they are lined and certified to EN 14058 with code 1/X/X/X.

Can I reach class 3 with the trousers alone?

No: they need to be combined with a high-visibility jacket, bomber jacket or vest.

Which colours do they come in?

Fluorescent yellow and fluorescent orange.

Which sizes are available?

From S to 3XL.
