Cotton high-visibility short-sleeve polo shirt class 2

Velilla 305522 high-visibility polo shirt: RS segmented tape range

The same cotton piqué as the 305512, but with the heat-sealed segmented reflective tape of the Reflatex RS range instead of continuous sewn-on tape. With no stitching, the tape does not pull on the fabric and the polo moves better. Class 2 according to EN ISO 20471.

✅ Features

  • Heat-sealed segmented tape: applied with heat, without stitching; less stiffness and more freedom of movement than sewn-on tape.
  • 55% cotton - 45% polyester piqué at 150 g/m²: breathable with a natural feel.
  • Reflective tapes on torso and sleeves.
  • Central button placket and rib-knit collar.
  • Chest patch pocket.
  • EN ISO 20471 class 2 in a short-sleeve polo.

👷 Suitable for

  • Construction and road signage during daytime.
  • Railways and airports, where class 2 is required.
  • Logistics and warehouse.
  • Work involving a lot of arm movement, where sewn-on tape gets in the way.
  • Municipal services and gardening.

🧺 Care

  • Machine wash; because of the cotton it shrinks slightly more than a polyester polo.
  • Heat-sealed tape cannot be ironed directly: it peels off. Always iron inside out and avoid the tape.
  • No chlorine bleach.
  • Use little fabric softener, so as not to coat the retroreflective material.
  • Withdraw the garment if the tape starts to lift or the fluorescent colour fades.

💡 Tip: don't confuse the two acronyms in this family. RS is the segmented reflective tape range (a finish); GRS is the Global Recycled Standard certificate for recycled fabric. This 305522 is RS but not GRS: the tape is segmented and the fabric is virgin cotton-polyester. If you are looking for recycled fabric, the reference is 305532.
