✅ Features
100% GRS recycled polyester: according to the official distributor, each garment is equivalent to around 23 reused plastic bottles.
UPF 50+ according to EN 13758-2: the fabric blocks most ultraviolet radiation, and the long sleeves cover the whole arm.
Only 140 g/m²: long sleeves without feeling heavy.
Heat-sealed segmented reflective tape on the torso and sleeves.
Central button placket, ribbed collar and cuffs.
Chest patch pocket.
👷 Suitable for
Civil engineering and road signage with continuous sun exposure.
Standards: EN ISO 20471 class 2; EN 13758-2 UPF 50+
Range: Reflatex RS Recycled Segmented Tape
Colours: fluorescent yellow and fluorescent orange
Sizes available at Vetonek: S, M, L, XL, 2XL and 3XL
Pockets: one chest patch pocket
🧺 Care
Machine wash; recycled polyester hardly shrinks.
Do not iron over the heat-sealed tape: it will come off.
No chlorine bleach.
Use little fabric softener, so as not to coat the retroreflective material.
Retire the garment if the tape lifts or the fluorescent colour fades.
💡 Tip: for work in the sun, long sleeves with UPF 50+ protect the skin better than short sleeves with sunscreen, because sunscreen washes off with sweat and the fabric does not. And a common warning: UPF sun protection and high-visibility class are two different things; this garment is class 2, and for carriageways open to traffic you will need to add a vest or jacket to reach class 3.
