Velilla 174 high-visibility polo shirt: long sleeves and class 2, one step up
Long sleeves are not just a matter of temperature: by adding fluorescent fabric and reflective tapes on the sleeves as well, this polo reaches EN ISO 20471 class 2, while its short-sleeve sibling stays at class 1. 100% polyester Bird-Eye fabric of 160 g/m².

🧺 Care
Machine washable; polyester tolerates frequent washing well and hardly shrinks.
No chlorine bleach: it dulls the fluorescent background and, with it, the class.
Do not iron over the reflective tapes.
Use little fabric softener: it leaves a film on the retroreflective material.
Retire the garment when the colour looks washed out or the tape starts to crack.
💡 Tip: many people buy class 2 thinking it covers everything. It doesn't: for working on a carriageway open to traffic or at night the usual reference is class 3, and a polo on its own won't reach it. Class 3 is achieved with the whole outfit: for example, this class 2 polo with a high-visibility vest or jacket on top. Before buying, check your site's risk assessment, not the colour of the garment.
Frequently Asked Questions
What high-visibility class does it have?
Class 2 according to EN ISO 20471, as stated in the manufacturer's data sheet.
Why is it class 2 if the short-sleeve one is class 1?
Because the long sleeves add fluorescent surface and reflective tape.
Is it suitable for working on the road at night?
Normally not: that requires class 3, which is achieved by combining garments.
