High-visibility half-zip sweatshirt class 2

Velilla 305704 high-visibility sweatshirt: class 2 and segmented tape

Fluorescent background across the whole garment, heat-sealed segmented reflective tape on torso and sleeves and brushed fleece knit in 100% polyester, 300 g/m². It is the sweatshirt in the family with confirmed EN ISO 20471 class 2, which is why it is the most requested for signalling and public roads.

✅ Features

  • EN ISO 20471 class 2 according to the manufacturer's data sheet and the official distributor's.
  • Heat-sealed segmented tape: no stitching, more flexible on a thick knit garment.
  • Half zip and high collar: ventilate without taking the garment off.
  • 300 g/m² brushed fleece knit: mid-season mid-layer.
  • Ribbed cuffs and hem.
  • Two colours: fluorescent yellow and fluorescent orange.

👷 Suitable for

  • Road signalling and maintenance, where class 2 is required.
  • Railways, airports and platforms.
  • Construction work in spring and autumn.
  • Logistics, warehouses and loading docks.

💡 Tip: even though this sweatshirt is class 2, as soon as you put something on top it no longer counts: the class is determined by the visible outer garment. If the work is on a carriageway open to traffic or at night, the usual combination to reach class 3 is this sweatshirt with high-visibility trousers and a parka or jacket that is also certified; check the class of the whole outfit, not of each piece.

Frequently Asked Questions

What high-visibility class does it have?

Class 2 to EN ISO 20471, a figure that matches in both the manufacturer's data sheet and the official distributor's.

What does RS mean?

Heat-sealed segmented reflective tape; it is not GRS, which is the recycled certificate.

Is it suitable for roads at night?

Not on its own. For class 3 it must be combined with high-visibility trousers and a certified outer garment.

If I wear a jacket on top, am I still compliant?

Only if that jacket is also high-visibility.

Can it be ironed?

Not over the heat-sealed tape.

What colours does it come in?

Fluorescent yellow and fluorescent orange.

What sizes are available?

From S to 3XL.
