¿Cuánta semilla necesito para mi jardín?
Como referencia, cada 1 kg cubre aproximadamente 30 m² en siembra inicial (algo menos en resiembra, donde suele bastar con la mitad de dosis). Por eso el formato de 5 kg se ajusta a jardines de hasta 150 m², el de 10 kg a unos 300 m², y el de 25 kg a instalaciones de hasta 750 m² o más.
¿Qué diferencia hay entre las mezclas Compact, Classic y Regenerator?
Compact está pensada para uso intenso (zonas de paso, deporte o mascotas), Classic es la opción multiuso para jardines ornamentales con estética cuidada, y Regenerator está formulada específicamente para resembrar calvas o zonas dañadas, con un enraizamiento y vigor más rápidos que una mezcla estándar.
Tengo zonas de sombra o vivo cerca de la costa, ¿qué mezcla me conviene?
Para sombra bajo árboles o setos, Shadow es la mezcla más equilibrada, con buen comportamiento incluso con poca luz. Si tu jardín está en clima mediterráneo, cerca de piscina o en zona costera con salinidad, Sahara está formulada para resistir el calor y la sal manteniendo el color durante todo el verano.
¿Es normal que salgan malas hierbas antes que el césped recién sembrado?
Sí, es habitual durante las primeras dos semanas: al remover la tierra para sembrar se activan semillas de otras plantas que llevaban tiempo dormidas y que germinan más rápido que el césped. No indica un problema con la semilla ni con la siembra.
¿Qué aportan las mezclas con Microclover® (Comfort y Classfort)?
Incorporan trébol enano, que fija nitrógeno de forma natural en el suelo, reduce la necesidad de riego y fertilizantes, y mantiene el césped verde con menos siegas. Son una buena opción si buscas un mantenimiento más bajo sin renunciar a un buen aspecto ornamental.
¿Cuál es la mejor época para sembrar?
Otoño y primavera son las mejores ventanas, con temperaturas suaves que favorecen la germinación sin el estrés del calor extremo o las heladas. En verano también es posible sembrar, pero requiere riego más frecuente y los resultados suelen ser mejores fuera de los meses más calurosos.
