Types of manual sprayers
- For garden, patio and vegetable garden: the Bellota 3700 is a pre-pressure sprayer that fits in one hand, in 1, 1.5 and 2 litre versions, with an adjustable nozzle and a lock on the handle.
- Professional pre-pressure: the Bellota 3710 in 5 and 10 litres, with a 500 mm steel lance, adjustable cone nozzle and a working pressure of 2.5 to 3.5 bar.
- Backpack, continuous pressure: the Bellota 3710 backpack in 12 and 16 litres, with a 600 mm steel lance, adjustable straps and a working pressure of 2 to 3 bar.
- Spare parts: original spare parts for the 3710, such as the lance with nozzle, lever, hose, pumps, air chambers and rod.
How to choose your manual sprayer
- Capacity: 1 to 2 litres for plants and pots, 5 to 10 litres for vegetable garden work and 12 to 16 litres for long treatments.
- Pressure type: pre-pressure is built up with the pump before spraying; continuous pressure reaches working pressure with fewer pump strokes.
- Lance and nozzle: a 500 or 600 mm steel lance makes it easier to reach plants, and the adjustable cone nozzle sets the spray pattern.
- Comfort: on long days, consider padded shoulder straps or adjustable straps.
- If you would rather not pump, see the cordless sprayers.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between pre-pressure and continuous pressure?
On a pre-pressure sprayer you pump to pressurise the tank before spraying, whereas on a continuous-pressure model the chamber reaches working pressure with fewer pump strokes. The Bellota 3700 and the 5 and 10 litre 3710 are pre-pressure; the 12 and 16 litre 3710 backpack is continuous pressure.
What sprayer capacity do I need?
It depends on the area: the Bellota 3700 (1, 1.5 or 2 litres) is enough for plants, flowers and vegetables; the 5 or 10 litre 3710 suits bigger jobs; and the 12 or 16 litre backpack suits long treatments in intensive crops.
What products can be applied with these sprayers?
You can apply pesticides, soluble chemical fertilisers, disinfectants, cleaners and detergents. They are not suitable for oils, lubricants, form-release agents, solvents or descalers.
Which sprayer is best for the garden or patio?
The Bellota 3700, a compact and light pre-pressure sprayer used for watering, protecting crops, removing weeds or cleaning mould from garden furniture and swings. Its adjustable nozzle goes from a fine mist to a long-reach jet.
Can you replace parts on a professional sprayer?
Yes, with the original Bellota spare parts for the 3710 you can replace the lance with nozzle, lever, hose, pumps or air chambers when they wear out, without replacing the whole sprayer.
