Bellota 6102 BIM Forged Combination Pliers for Holding, Gripping and Cutting

The Bellota 6102 BIM combination pliers are the joker in any toolbox: a single tool that holds, grips and cuts effectively and comfortably. Head and body are forged in steel, with differentiated hardening and tempering and double induction hardening on the cutting edge, for lasting professional performance.

Its smooth, fine serration holds without marking the surface, the coarse serration grips round bars and pipes, and the cutting edges cut wire and hard and semi-hard materials. The special design of its bi-material handles gives more gripping power and cutting capacity with less effort. Complies with DIN standards.

  • Forged steel with differentiated heat treatment
  • Induction-hardened cutting edges (58-62 HRc)
  • Holds without marking and grips pipes and round bars
  • High wire-cutting capacity
  • Bi-material handles: maximum force transmission

Frequently asked questions

What are the Bellota 6102 BIM combination pliers for?

It is a single tool that holds, grips and cuts. Its smooth, fine serration holds without marking, the coarse serration grips round bars and pipes, and the cutting edges cut wire and hard and semi-hard materials.

What are they made of?

Head and body are forged steel, with differentiated hardening and tempering and double induction hardening on the cutting edge (58-62 HRc). The handles are bi-material and they comply with DIN standards.

What sizes are there and which should I choose?

There are three lengths: 160, 180 and 200 mm, weighing 0.21, 0.28 and 0.34 kg. The longer the pliers, the greater the cutting capacity, for example stranded copper cable of Ø 10, 12 and 13 mm.

What wire can they cut?

Hard wire (1800 N/mm²) of Ø 3.1, 3.4 or 3.8 mm depending on the model, and spring wire (2300 N/mm²) of Ø 2 to 2.5 mm. If you are unsure whether they suit your case, write to us and we will help.

Frequently Asked Questions

What ensures the durability of these pliers?

The head and body are made of forged steel, with differentiated hardening and tempering on the head and induction hardening on the cutting edges.

Does it comply with any standard?

Yes, it meets the requirements of the DIN standards.

Can it cut steel wire?

Yes, it cuts hard wire up to 3.8 mm in diameter depending on the size (see table).

Which size should I choose?

The longer sizes give more leverage and cutting capacity; the shorter ones are easier to handle in tight spaces. See the table in the data sheet.
