Long-sleeved food industry coat with concealed press studs

Velilla 259001 snap-fastening coat: the long food industry coat, in three colors

This is the long-sleeved coat worn over street clothes to enter the production area. It fastens with snaps hidden under a placket — no sewn-on buttons that could pop off onto the food — and the pocket is on the inside, not on the chest.

✅ Features

  • Concealed central snap fastening: the snaps are covered by a placket; no visible parts over the product.
  • Inside patch pocket: the only pocket is on the inside, so it doesn't collect debris or dust from the line.
  • Ribbed cuffs: they hug the wrist and stop the sleeve from dragging over the goods.
  • 65% polyester - 35% cotton twill: 190 g/m², with more body than a lightweight visitor coat and designed for everyday use.
  • Three colors: white, navy blue and green, to visually separate sections, shifts or risk zones.
  • Sizes from XS to 3XL: covers your whole workforce with a single reference.

👷 What jobs it's for

  • Food industry production and packaging lines.
  • Production kitchens, bakeries, pastry shops and delicatessens.
  • Fishmongers, butcher shops and supermarket fresh food sections.
  • Quality control laboratories and tasting rooms.
  • Food distribution warehouses and loading docks.

📋 Technical data sheet

  • Composition: 65% polyester - 35% cotton.
  • Weight: 190 g/m².
  • Sleeve: long.
  • Fastening: central, concealed snaps with placket.
  • Cuffs: ribbed.
  • Pockets: 1 inside patch pocket.
  • Colors: white, navy blue and green.
  • Sizes: XS, S, M, L, XL, 2XL and 3XL.

🧺 Care

  • Inside label: Velilla does not publish the wash cycle for this reference; follow the symbols sewn into the garment.
  • Snaps: fasten them before washing. If left open they knock against the drum and end up tearing off the fabric reinforcement they are riveted to.
  • Color: wash the navy and the green separately from the white the first few times; initial color bleeding is normal in colored coats.

💡 Tip: use color as a visual control, not as decoration. Many plants assign white to the clean zone and navy or green to the warehouse and dock, so an operator in the wrong zone can be spotted from far away. If you are going to do this, decide on the code before buying: changing it later means replacing the entire wardrobe.
