With the handrail the assembly reaches 96 cm, and adding the top cap, 104 cm: plenty of margin to meet the protection height for a terrace or balcony with no need to build anything up. It's made using advanced compaction techniques and with no internal reinforcement.

🧰 Installation
Check that the wall or supporting ring beam is level and clean.
Set out the spacing between centres along the whole run before drilling.
Fit the galvanised dowel at each marked point; at this height, the dowel is essential.
Bed the baluster on a pat of bonding mortar, threading it onto the dowel.
Plumb each piece and check the run's alignment with a string line before the mortar grabs.
Fit the top cap, which ties the whole run together, and point the joints at the end.

💡 Professional tip: at 80 cm tall, a baluster with no dowel tips over with a single push while the mortar is still fresh. Drill and fit the dowel in every piece, including the middle ones: it's tempting to anchor only the ends to save time, and that's exactly where the run gives way if someone leans on it before it's cured.
