The Vetonek Deba clay roller shutter box is a shutter head unit with a reinforced concrete core, a 19 x 35 cm section and lengths from 100 to 300 cm. It sits over the window opening and solves both the lintel and the housing for the shutter roller at the same time. For builders and bricklayers who want to integrate the shutter into the brick wall and render it just like the rest of the wall.

🧰 Installation

  1. Choose a length that exceeds the opening enough to bear on both jambs, as specified in the project.
  2. Prepare and level the bearings with mortar on the brickwork.
  3. Place the box with two people or with lifting equipment for the longer lengths, checking level and plumb.
  4. Bed the ends in mortar and continue the brickwork above.
  5. Render or plaster the exposed face with the same material as the rest of the wall.

Between about 549 kg (18 pcs of 100 cm) and about 988 kg (18 pcs of 200 cm), always below 1,000 kg.

Can it be cut?
It is not recommended, as it has a reinforced concrete core. Choose the standard length that suits the opening.
