Belt compressor 100 L - 3 HP and 320 L/min at 10 bar
100-litre, 10 bar belt-driven compressor
The benchmark workshop compressor: 100-litre air tank, 3 HP and 10 bar with belt transmission, running from an ordinary 230 V socket.
The 10 bar matter more than they seem. Between the pressure drop in the hose, the filter regulator and the margin the pressure switch needs to avoid constantly restarting, if the compressor only reaches 8 bar you end up working at 5.5 at the nozzle. Starting from 10 bar you have a cushion for the whole installation.
✅ Main advantages
10 bar of pressure: real headroom for long hoses and several air outlets.
Belt transmission: designed to work every day.
100 litres of reserve: long cycles, a rested motor.
320 L/min of sustained flow.
Single-phase 230 V: no need for a three-phase installation.
🏗️ What it is for
Fixed air installation in a workshop or small industrial unit.
Impact tools, ratchets and blow guns.
Spray painting and bodywork.
Professional carpentry and light industrial assembly.
📋 Technical specifications
Voltage: 230 V
Power: 3 HP
Maximum pressure: 10 bar
Flow rate: 320 L/min

💡 Professional tip: do not anchor the compressor rigidly to the floor thinking it will vibrate less. With the feet bolted to concrete, the vibration is transmitted to the whole building and the welds of the air tank are subjected to fatigue. Fit rubber anti-vibration pads and leave the unit resting on them: it lasts longer and is quieter.
Frequently asked questions
Why does the 10 bar maximum pressure matter?
Because part of the pressure is lost in the hose, the filter regulator and the pressure switch margin. With 10 bar you have a cushion to maintain a useful pressure at the tool, with 3 HP and 320 L/min.
Does it work from an ordinary socket?
Yes, it is single-phase at 230 V and does not require a three-phase installation. As it is 3 HP, check the line and the protections with an electrician.
How should I position it so it vibrates less?
Rest it on rubber anti-vibration pads instead of rigidly bolting the feet to the floor. The specification sheet recommends this so that the vibration is not transmitted to the building or fatigues the welds of the air tank. Place it somewhere ventilated and level.
What can I do in the workshop with this unit?
With a 100-litre reserve and 320 L/min it is suitable for impact tools, ratchets, blow guns and spray painting in a workshop or small industrial unit. If several outlets are in use at the same time, add up the consumption.
How often should I drain the air tank?
Condensate builds up as the air is compressed, so it should be drained regularly, daily if use is intensive. Check the head oil according to the manufacturer's manual.
