Oil-free compressor 50 L - 2.5 HP, 9 bar and 246 L/min maintenance-free
Oil-free 50-litre compressor, 9 bar
The unit for anyone who wants a workshop compressor and never wants to think about oil. 50-litre air tank, 246 L/min and 9 bar, with an oil-free, maintenance-free pump head: you plug it in and it works, year after year.
Compared with the 24-litre model, what you gain is autonomy: the same motor unit with twice the reserve means half the starts, a lower operating temperature and a motor that lasts noticeably longer. It has thermal protection and runs on wheels.
✅ Main advantages
9 bar maximum pressure: margin for long hoses and demanding tools.
246 L/min with 50 litres of reserve: flow and autonomy at the same time.
Oil-free, with no crankcase maintenance.
Clean air from the outset for painting and precision pneumatics.
Thermal protection and transport on wheels.
🏗️ What it is used for
Carpentry, assembly and repair workshops.
Spray painting and varnishing.
Pneumatic tools in intermittent use.
Building sites, maintenance and intensive DIY.

💡 Professional tip: if the compressor is going to be in an unheated room, empty the air tank before a frosty weekend. The condensed water left at the bottom freezes, blocks the drain valve and, in the worst case, cracks the fitting. It is a silly fault and it turns up every winter.
Frequently asked questions
What is the improvement over the 24-litre oil-free model?
It keeps the 2.5 HP, 246 L/min and 9 bar, but with 50 litres of reserve: half the starts, a lower temperature and a motor that lasts longer.
Does it need oil maintenance?
No, it has an oil-free pump head and no crankcase maintenance. Even so, the air tank should be drained of condensed water.
Is it suitable for painting or varnishing?
Yes. The air comes out free of lubricant, which makes it suitable for spray guns and varnishing, with 246 L/min.
What are the 9 bar for?
They give margin with long hoses or demanding tools, compared with the usual 8 bar.
What precaution should be taken in winter?
If it is in an unheated room, empty the air tank before a frost: the condensed water left behind can freeze and block the drain valve or damage the fitting.
