Ujué Concrete Paver - 35 pieces/m² for sidewalks and walkways

Ujué Paver: large 24x12 format for fast paving

The Ujué Paver is a rectangular paver measuring 24x12x6 cm, longer than the usual 20x10. With only 35 pieces per square meter, you cover more surface faster and fewer joints are visible, giving the paving a cleaner, more open look. Made of vibropressed concrete in accordance with the UNE-EN 1338 standard.

✅ Advantages

  • Fewer pieces per meter: 35 pcs/m² versus the 50 of a 20x10, which speeds up laying.
  • Fewer joints: the elongated format gives a calmer layout and less visible sand line.
  • 2:1 proportion: allows stack bond, running bond, herringbone and basketweave patterns without adjustment pieces.
  • Certified strength: UNE-EN 1338, strength Xi>2.9 / X8>3.6 MPa and satisfactory breaking load X8>250 N/mm.
  • Wear and absorption: class 4 I (Xi<20 mm) and absorption class 2B (X8<6%).
  • Four factory colors: gray, cream, red and black.

🏗️ Applications

  • Sidewalks, walkways and garden paths.
  • Patios, terraces and porches.
  • Plazas and pedestrian areas.
  • Home driveways and light-vehicle parking.
  • Walkable roofs.

🧰 Installation

  1. Excavate the sub-grade and compact the natural ground, already marking the drainage slope.
  2. Spread and compact a 15-20 cm crushed aggregate base for pedestrian use.
  3. Lay a 3-5 cm bedding sand layer, screeded flat with a straightedge and not compacted.
  4. Lay the pavers tightly butted from a straight edge, mixing pieces from several pallets at the same time.
  5. Confine the perimeter with a concrete curb or edging so the paving does not spread apart.
  6. Sweep silica sand into the joints, run the plate compactor with a rubber pad over it and repeat the sweeping a few days later.

📦 Formats and colors

  • Ujué Paver 24x12x6 cm — gray and color. It is the only size in this range.
  • Factory shades available: gray, cream, red and black. Cream, red and black are priced under the Color value, which is how the manufacturer invoices them.
  • If you need this look in an 8 cm thickness for vehicle traffic, check out the Lerma 20x10x8 Paver or the Briones 22.5x11.25x8 Paver.

💡 Professional tip: the Ujué is made only in 6 cm, and that sets its limit: it is suitable for pedestrians and the family car, but not for trucks or loaded vans; beyond that you need an 8 cm paver. Order 5-7% extra material for cuts and finishing, and buy it all at once, because a pallet ordered months later almost never matches in shade. And during installation, mix pieces from three or four pallets at the same time: that way the shade variations specific to each batch are spread out and you won't end up with patches on the ground.
