Spreading salt, seed or soil amendments by hand always ends the same way: heavy patches, bare patches and wasted product. In winter the path is still slippery exactly where you step; in spring the lawn comes up patchy; and the basalt rock dust or agricultural gypsum you bought to improve your soil never reaches every corner of the plot evenly.
With this spreader you walk (or drive) and it does the dosing: the same amount per metre, pass after pass, with 10 flow settings you adjust without stopping. Less product wasted, better results and half the time.

What products can I spread with it?
Any dry, free-flowing product: de-icing salt, lawn seed, granular fertilisers, soil amendments such as basalt rock dust, agricultural gypsum, calcium carbonate or dolomitic lime, and dry top dressing or fine sand for lawns.
Does it work with powdered basalt, agricultural gypsum or calcium carbonate?
Yes, but they spread much better as pellets or granules. Very fine powder can clump with moisture and gets blown by the wind. If you use powder, make sure it is completely dry, work on a still day and use a medium setting. In our shop you'll find basalt rock dust and agricultural gypsum in pellet form, designed precisely for spreading.
Can I spread top dressing with it?
Yes, as long as the sand or top dressing is dry and free of lumps. It's the quickest way to top dress after scarifying or aerating the lawn and leaves a much more even layer than a shovel.
Which model and size should I choose?
15 L for small gardens and home entrances; 29 L for large gardens and vegetable plots; 45 L for large plots and communities. If you already have a ride-on mower or compact tractor, the 29 or 45 L tow-behind model will save you a lot of time.
What vehicle can I use the tow-behind model with?
A ride-on mower, compact tractor, quad or garden utility vehicle with a rear hitch. Check that your vehicle has a compatible hitch point; if in doubt, send us the model and we'll confirm it.
How do I adjust the dose?
With the control cable and its 10 opening settings. Start on a low setting, do a test pass and adjust. Keep a steady pace when walking or driving so the spread is even.
Won't salt damage it?
The hopper is PVC and the frame is corrosion-resistant steel. Even so, rinse it with water after using salt or gypsum and let it dry: two minutes of cleaning adds years to its life.
Does it come assembled?
It arrives unassembled for transport. Assembly is simple with basic tools; for the larger models it's easier with two people.
