Murchante Cladding - Sandblasted Travertine in Reconstituted Stone

Murchante Cladding: sandblasted-texture travertine, no gloss

Some projects call for light-colored stone but without the pronounced pores of classic travertine. Murchante Cladding offers that sandblasted, matte and uniform surface in reconstituted stone panels measuring 40 × 60 × 2 cm and weighing 40 kg/m², water-repellent throughout the body, in the warm Tomillo shade.

✅ Main advantages

  • Fine sandblasted texture: matte, uniform surface that hides dust and salt deposits better than smooth finishes.
  • Large 40 × 60 format: 4.16 pieces per m², fast installation with few joints.
  • Tomillo shade: warm beige that pairs well with white, wood and wrought iron.
  • Water-repellent throughout: facades, porches and exposed walls with no frost problems.
  • Matching accessories: corners, mouldings, window sills and columns in the same finish.
  • Full 20 m² pallet with the best price per m².

🏗️ Recommended applications

  • Full facades and base courses
  • Porches, columns and boundary walls
  • Living rooms, entrance halls and fireplace surrounds
  • Hotels and Mediterranean-style venues

  • Format: 40 × 60 × 2 cm · 4.16 pieces/m² (1 cm joint)
  • Weight: 40 kg/m²
  • Color: Tomillo
  • Pack: 0.5 m² (2 pieces) · Full pallet: 20 m²

🧰 Installation

  1. Clean, firm and level substrate.
  2. C2T flexible tile adhesive, double-buttered, applied with an 8/10 mm trowel.
  3. Work from the bottom up, with a 1 cm joint, in a staggered (running bond) pattern.
  4. Grout with mortar and clean with a damp sponge before it hardens.

💡 Professional tip: on sandblasted finishes, never use a wire brush or undiluted acid cleaners: they would polish the texture. Use a sponge, water and, on facades, a colorless water repellent every few years.

Frequently Asked Questions
