🧰 Installation
Check that the wall is cured, clean and free of efflorescence; brush off dust and dampen if the block is very absorbent.
Set out the first course level and start on a support batten, leaving a couple of centimeters of clearance from the ground.
Bond with exterior-grade class C2 tile adhesive using double buttering, covering the whole back of the tile well.
Lay with staggered joints, alternating pieces from several pallets to spread out small tone differences.
Grout with exterior joint mortar and clean with a damp sponge before it hardens.
Apply a colorless water repellent over the whole visible face, especially at the base of the wall.

💡 Professional tip: don't start the first course resting directly on the soil. Leave two or three centimeters of clearance from the ground or lawn: if the tile touches the soil, it absorbs moisture by capillary action, and within a couple of winters green stains and efflorescence appear right where they're most visible. Also allow 10% extra pieces for the cuts at piers and corners.
