Which part do I need for my 3578 loppers?
Check the table: blade, counter-blade and M40-M90 handles are for the fixed 3578; the TELA, TELT and MTEL references are exclusive to the extendable 3578 TEL.
How are the handles changed?
Remove the screws that join them to the head, fit the new ones and tighten; the 3578-TTM kit replaces those screws if they are worn.
When should the shock absorber be replaced?
When you notice hard knocks as the shears close or see the rubber cracked; it protects your wrists on long days.
Do they fit other Bellota shears?
The bolt, shock absorber and handle screws also fit the 3580, 3588 and 3589, and the M40-M90 handles fit the 3580.
