🧰 Installation
Check that the substrate is clean and that any waterproofing is intact.
Mark out the grid to match the slab format: one pedestal at each corner of the piece.
Place the pedestals and check that all of them make full contact.
Adjust the height by combining sizes until the plane is level.
Bed the slabs, checking that none rocks on only three supports.
Finish off the perimeter so the edge pieces can't tip.

💡 Professional tip: the classic fault with raised flooring is a slab resting on only three pedestals that rocks underfoot: it makes noise, chips at the corner and eventually breaks. Before calling the job finished, step on the edge of every single slab, one by one. Any that rock get shimmed — never left for later.
