Divide the area to be paved by 12.15 m² to work out how many packs you need.
Compact the ground and spread a 10-15 cm sub-base of crushed gravel.
Level a 3-4 cm bed of sand or mortar with a drainage slope.
Sort the pieces by format and plan the pattern before laying the first one.
Lay with an open joint of 4-6 mm and bed with a rubber mallet.
Grout and clean the surface.

Calculate on 11 m² per pack and you won't come up short at the end — which is when a second order takes three weeks and arrives from a different color batch.
