A rough finish ruins an otherwise well-kept façade, and if it also has internal reinforcement it will eventually burst from rust. The Duero Smooth Wall Coping solves both problems: a smooth face straight from the mould and a high-performance concrete piece with no internal reinforcement, with built-in drip edges that keep the wall clean.

🧰 Installation
Clean the top of the wall and check it's level end to end.
Dry-lay the course first and decide where the cuts will fall.
Apply flexible bonding mortar, with a continuous bead along both edges.
Bed the piece with equal overhang on both sides and tap with a rubber mallet.
Leave a 3-5 mm joint and point it with elastic mortar matching the coping colour.
Clean off excess while fresh: on a smooth finish, dried mortar leaves a haze.

💡 Professional tip: on a smooth-finish piece, mortar stains far more than on a textured one. Always clean while fresh with a sponge and clean water, changing the water often; if it dries, the cement haze will only come off with acid, and that acid will dull the shine of the visible face.
